Me first....

A three year old often says "me first, me first" and it is considered cute; however as an adult to excel and be our best self  it is necessary to put others first. At some point people always project on the outside what their inside is thinking. If you are only thinking of yourself on the inside no amount of covering will keep that from displaying itself in some form on the outside. Some common "me first" attitudes: An inability to admit wrong doing and instead always justifying or making excuses for your actions. A failure to forgive and move on. A critical spirit; are you always criticizing others in an effort to make yourself look better? A desire to hog the credit... does your ego demand that people acknowledge you? Any one of these "me first" attitudes can sabotage your God-given ability to be all you were created to be. Who do you put first?
