Whether business or personal good partnerships do not foster co-dependence or independence, but interdependence on one another. Each party has it own strengths and weaknesses and has the humility to recognize the weaknesses and the passion to pursue the strengths. In a healthy relationship each party should  not only feel secure in their role, but driven to continually stretch themselves to be their best.
