Being accountable is one of the most important things a person can do. It aligns our character. It is hard to have true character if you can't be accountable for your actions. People who show they are accountable earn the respect of those around them and advance themselves on the road to success. You rarely see people who hold themselves accountable making excuses for their actions or behavior.
