Confident at the foundation....
A genuine sense of self-worth, confidence that cannot be shaken by circumstances is usually present in a person who exhibits faith in their abilities, their calling, their path. From that foundation of security comes the ability to help and mentor others, to lead without requiring constant affirmation or being crippled by doubt. You will not see a leader grow from place of insecurity. True leaders are secure enough in who they are that they are able to invest themselves in others, help them grow and develop to their full potential. Secure leaders are confident in their foundation and are free to lift others up who could eventually replace them.
