Freely Given...

Did you know the greatest gifts are freely given? Examine your motives...do you expect a return on your gift?Whether you are giving your time, your money or your talent away do you expect the person you are giving it to to reciprocate? If so it is not a gift freely given. If you expect to be repaid your motives for giving the gift need to be evaluated.  Do you have a scorecard in your mind of who you have given what and if they have given you equal measure in return? If you continually keep track of the score, you miss the meaning of the gift....freely given....no strings attached....no reciprocation needed. The ability to do that is a gift within itself.
