Many people in today's world wear masks and keep their guard up; afraid to let their true authentic self shine through.  Being authentic requires both courage and humility. It means exposing your true feelings on many levels and facing the fear of rejection or being hurt. It means being honest with yourself and the person or persons whom you are seeking relationship with. We only grow into a deep meaningful relationship by taking these risks. The most difficult risk is being honest with ourselves and with those that mean the most to us. Without true authenticity your relationships are just surface level.
