Conflict Resolution....
In resolving a conflict or difficult situation how you speak is as important as what you say. If you approach it offensively it will most likely be received defensively. It is hard to be persuasive if you are being abrasive... we tend to attack the person instead of the problem. The way we handle a conflict sometimes creates a bigger problem than the original problem itself. If you are part of the problem don't make excuses or shift the blame. You cannot fix the problem if you are consumed with fixing the blame. Accept responsibility, admit your part in the conflict and resolve to make a difference. In doing so you show maturity and display integrity and honesty....all key components to becoming a person of character.
