Are you an example....

There is a proverb that says: "If you want to clean up the whole world, begin with sweeping your own doorstep". The change we seek does not start with someone else, it has to start within ourselves. It is a hard lesson to learn when you realize you cannot change other people's behavior... not your spouse's, not your friends, not your families and not your partner's. To effect a change in someone else you must change first. You must live what you want others to learn. Live your life as an example. BE the change you want to see in others. Complaining about someone else will not change them....being an example of the change you would like to see in them might.
