The higher value....

When you get outside of yourself and make an contribution to others, you really begin to live. Unselfish thinking adds value to others and requires the giver to develop humility. When you think and live unselfishly and invest in others with either your time, talent or treasures (money) you gain the opportunity to create a legacy that will outlive you. The spirit of generosity created when one gives unselfishly gives others an appreciation for life and an understanding of higher values. Realizing life is NOT about you, but who or whom you can unselfishly help increases the quality of life for the you (the giver), and for the receiver.
