Will you be inconvenienced....
Sometimes when we are good to people or go the extra mile we have a tendency to believe others should do that for us. It is important to remember if our motives are in the right place when we help others we should not expect anything in return. Help means reaching out, being there, inconveniencing yourself for someone else's needs. It's easy to help people on the first mile, it's on the extra mile that it gets difficult. You find you have to give more of yourself....you have to get out of your comfort zone and be willing to do for others without reciprocation. Often people are put in our path for us to help. It is a test to see if we will give what we have to help someone who is hurting or in need. Are you willing to be interrupted or inconvenienced with your time, your talent or your money to benefit someone else? Keep in mind with the right motive to help others your are actually blessing yourself and your future.
