The influential formula.....

Influence is not something that can be demanded, it has to be earned. We earn influence with our actions and accountability in front of others. There are three key qualities to being in an influential position. We must show competence. Do you  make good choices for yourself and those your lead....are you willing to admit mistakes and learn from them. Being competent does not mean you are always right. What does your character show? Is the heart of who you are in everything you do? Do you exude honesty and integrity in all areas of your life? Are you connected to those you serve and who serve you? Do you provide compassion  for their predicaments, as well as courage to their pursuits? Do you pay attention to what is going on in their lives, not just concerned for yours?  How about courage? Are you willing to take risks others will not take? Will you be the first to go to the edge or over if needed? Do you possess mountain moving faith? The formula for influence: Competence + Character + Connection + Courage = Influence. Leave out any of these and your influence in the long run will be limited.
