Exclude the expert.....

Experts can do more to shoot down a persons dreams than anyone else. We often confuse and "expert" with a mentor. Mentors empower, equip and lead with positive reinforcement and point out areas for improvement in a non-critical, constructive manner. An expert on the other hand usually feels superior and looks to feed their superiority by pointing out or criticizing others in a non-constructive way. Most experts will not encourage you to reach for the impossible. If you do than you take the lime light off their success. If you want to achieve great things you have to be willing to give yourself permission to believe it is possible, despite what the so called experts say.
