Navigating the course....
Most of us can follow a map or GPS that tells us the direction to go. In life though we don't get a road map for success, we have to create it by setting goals and doing the necessary tasks to achieve them. Not everyone is skilled at setting goals, probably less are adapt and recognizing what needs to be done to attain a goal and affirming and adapting their actions to line up with it. This is what separates out the leaders. When a road map or goal is detailed out most people can follow it. Most people can steer the ship, but it takes a leader to chart or navigate the course. Off course? Trying to steer the ship, but don't know the direction to go? Look around you.... most likely the navigator is present and willing to take the wheel if you let go of your need to constantly control the course. That is usually defined as ego... and in the long run sinks most ships.
