The Standard.....

Good intentions don’t equal obedience. Have you heard someone say: "I wish I had listened" ..... "I wish I had made that change".....  "I wonder where I would be today if I had just taken that step.....".  Don’t let unfinished business keep you from your best. Other people cannot be obedient for you. They can hold you accountable, but obedience is a character trait that one enforces on themselves. If no one is looking, do you do the same thing as if the world was watching? That's obedience. If you're boss or partner is gone do you still show up on time...... take care of business or are you relieved that you can now focus on your own agenda?  Obedience is a choice..... just as fulfilling our potential is. You will find those who are passionately pursuing their destiny have a nature of obedience and don't look for others to hold them accountable.... honesty, integrity and excellence is their standard, regardless of the who in the world is involved.
