Speak up....

The ability to speak into another person's life and fuel their seeds of success requires a combination of empowering, equipping, commitment and accountability. You consider their gifts (strengths and abilities) and look for ways to fertilize them with encouragement and water them with opportunity.  Commitment is the glue. You can provide fertilization and water, but commitment, even in the tough times (droughts) is what speaks the loudest to your willingness to help someone else succeed. Finally, it requires having the courage to provide accountability. Accountability is what holds us to a higher standard. Encouraging someone is the easier part of the equation. However, the real growth comes when accountability is provided and changes are made to move forward and stretch to a higher level of success.
