React or Respond.....
When you have disruptions in your life do you respond or react. Did you know that reacting is a negative act where responding is a positive act. We do not really grow to our potential until we learn to be responders instead of reactors. Think about this; when our body does not like something we have a reaction to it .... but when a treatment or medication is working our body responds to it. It is the same with our thoughts. If you are always reacting to things in life most likely you are going around in circles..... getting nowhere. Someone says something about you do you immediately react? Is there continual drama in your life? You could very well be encouraging that pattern because you always react to it. Think about responding..... sometimes the best response it to learn to give none. Let the person say what they wish to say, don't react and let your lack of engagement be your response.
