Everyday people look for someone to emulate and follow. When we are children we call it a role model, as adults we call it mentor, either way we are looking for someone to help us move forward with our life's goals. Successful leaders, role models or mentors all exhibit the three C's.....
Commitment: regardless of the circumstances they are committed to their endeavor. They experience failure, but they fail forward and their commitment remains unwavered. Courage: They are risk takers...not afraid to take the first step or make the first move. Success is rarely available on easy street or down mediocre highway. Confidence: They are confident in themselves and in their plan or goal. They do not seek five other people's approval before making a move, they know what needs to be done and they are confident in their ability to do it. The C that ties them all together.... CHOICE. Commitment, Courage and Confidence are all choices... we make them every minute.... what do yours display?
