The Bigger Picture

It is traditional each calendar year to look back on the year and evaluate it.  What worked? What didn't? Did you advance in any area? Did you face the same hurdles as the previous year and overcome them or did they continue to hold you back? We often become so focused on writing one chapter that we miss the rest of the book or our destiny. We concentrate our focus on beating someone, having so much money, getting a promotion or changing a relationship that we miss the bigger picture. Bottom line is; are you in right relationship with people so that you are not only able to write one chapter, but the whole book. Right relationship thinks of serving the other person before serving yourself, it does not take advantage,  it considers others feelings... not just our own, it looks towards the outcome of book, not just the outcome of this chapter. Are living chapter to chapter or with the bigger picture in mind?
