The Long Route

Did things turn out like you planned this year? Last? Often when things don't go as planned we retreat into ourselves and think our dream or opportunity is over. We limit ourselves or close off our opportunity to go a different route. The disappointments and challenges are often what grows us the most. Have you considered they were placed in your path to prepare you and that maybe it was not yet time for the dream to be a reality? Sometimes it's what we learn on the journey or the "long route" that is the key needed to unlock the next level. We have to choose not to give up when a series of disappointment's or challenges present themselves. Giving up, making excuse, laying blame that's the easy way out of a dream.  The dream, goal, vision or opportunity is there for the taking but you have to do the work to attain it, absolutely no one else can do it for you.
