What Powers You...

We were made to love others and ourselves. God created us to love. What are we using that love for today.... are we using it trying to control others, or possibly prove we are better... how about to cast judgement. None of those things demonstrate love or embrace love in our lives. Forgiveness shows love for one another. Service and sacrifice demonstrate our love for others.  It is written that we should " love our neighbor as ourselves" or that "no greater love is there than to lay down our life for a friend". Would our relationships be stronger and more purposeful if we focused on the true meaning of love instead of judging, proving or blaming? Which actions are positive and which actions are negative.... both are powerful... but one robs our power and one embraces it. Which power are you under today?
