The Model....

Character is built by our actions and individual choices. We are not born with character. It develops as we live out each day. Our character is usually determined in times of adversity or struggle. It is easy to model good character traits when things are going our way. What happens when they don't? What happens when your back's against the wall. Will you take low blows or make excuses?  Or, will you stand tall and rise above the adversity presented? It's more work to meet and overcome challenges. Selling out or joining the pack is the easy way out. As an adult it is important to remember that each action taken is modeled to the children or youth in our life. Are you modeling integrity or excuses?
