Action Not Feeling...

I am thankful for the awareness that love is an action, not a feeling. It took me years to figure that out and in those years my feelings were hurt often. Once I understood God commands us to love and feelings cannot be commanded, the light bulb went off for me and I understood clearly.  God is not instructing us to feel love for every person he is telling us to BE Love to every person and that shows up in what we do for them and how we treat others.  God wired us to love our neighbor, strangers, other nationalities and even our enemies. Are you being love today? Feeling in love is reserved for a few we hold dear, being love is what servant leadership stands for.
