Get Real.....

I am thankful for the awareness to be real with myself. In doing this I learned I had been relying on my plans more than I was relying on God’s voice. I was following the course I or others had set for my life more than I wanted God’s design and purpose. My picture (life) was out of focus. I began to see my life as a movie and was real with myself about who the Director is. Once I began living in His will instead of my own, the picture was clear. Now when I get a little out of focus, when the movie gets blurry or the plot becomes unclear I stop and get real with myself and look to see what I am doing to create this. Who is directing your life, your movie? Are you trying to produce it in your own power? How’s that working out for you? Can I encourage you today to surrender your plans and look to the higher power to be the Director?
