I love that the end is not the end until God deems it so.
How many times have you been down only to have someone there to pick you
back up, brush you off, provide encouragement and empower you to get back in
the game? I don't know about you but I have revived more than my share of second chances -that
shot at redemption, and an opportunity to learn from my failure? I choose to
fail forward allowing for growth, instead of throwing myself the ultimate pity
party. I think of the apostle Peter... he messed up big, big time. But what happened - they found an empty tomb and the verse says....“But
go, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you to
Galilee." The apostle Peter
had no way of knowing how meaningful his story would become the generations to follow. His story serves both as a means of caution and as an inspiration to all of
us who have our less-than-perfect moments. Peter demonstrated just how far
someone could fall — and still get back up again. Have you fallen or failed
lately? Having trouble getting back on your feet.... possibly stumbling
frequently in fear of failing again. Can I encourage you today to reach out to
someone who can help support you. Don't think your story ends here. It's not
over until God says it is. Until the opportunity to draw breath is over there is an opportunity for a another chance. Will you join me in seizing it today?
