I am thankful to view life through the filter of joy. I am not talking about rose-colored glasses, but actually having a joy filled perspective. Joy can change how we perceive negative circumstances. It is choosing to rise above any circumstances and adopt a joyful countenance. Joy is an ongoing reminder that God is in control. As joy grows in our heart it infiltrates the soul and moves outward to impact others. Have you noticed people with the light of joy in their heart attract others to them. It is natural. People like to feel the overflow of joy. It rubs off and impacts others in powerful ways. The state of joy is unconditional and independent, if we are operating in it as intended. How about you? Would people say you shine and share the light and heart of joy? Look in the mirror this morning... is joy staring back at you? If the answers yes- embrace and enjoy the opportunity to spread it today. Was the answer in the mirror no? Only you can change that. No one else can make you joyful.
