Who or What....

I am thankful for the understanding that it is the "who" not the "what" that is important. Who do we love on and serve..... who do we lift up and sometimes carry. We live in a 'what" world. What do we have.... What do we do.... What do we want. I rejoice in the opportunity to focus on the who and model an outward focused life after the humble example Jesus provides. The greatest opportunity to show who is important is to become a servant to others in a serve me world. If you took stock today would it be the car, the job, the house, your bank account - the "what's" that you spend your energy on or would it be the "who's" that are your first thought and where your energy is focused? You can invest yourself in the what or you can invest it in the who; it's like fear and faith- both cannot occupy the same space. Will you join me and circle around your "who's" Lift them up. Love on them. Empower them. Equip them to live their best life. You will find your are living yours right along side them.
