Lean In.......

I rejoice in the understanding to lean in. It took me years to acquire the ability, even though the opportunity was always there. I am a strongly independent individual by nature. I think those of us who are this lesson is a hard one. In fact I am sure God shakes his head as we circle around the same mountain doing it our way. Once I learned to surrender, to lean in to the everlasting arms of God's strength and rely on His power to carry me when I was weak, confused or scared life changed for me. I learned to model this in my relationships. I am often the leanee for others to lean on but when I accepted that it was okay to surrender, to lean on someone else... to rely on someone else's strength God/Universe brought the perfect person for me to lean in to. You see God was waiting on me to be ready. Have you learned the art of leaning in? Possibly you think you have no one to lean on. I've been there. Can I encourage you in the knowledge that you are the one holding up the process. Are  you ready to feel everlasting arms around you today? Surrender is not always a negative word. In this instance it means you are open to being vulnerable, authentic and loved.
