Tug Of War....
I acknowledge in surrendering my weakness I find refuge and strength. For years I thought I had to carry the entire burden..... everything was up to me. If I didn't do it; it didn't happen. Sound familar? Then I learned to release what I felt was a weakness to a higher power. I wasn't meant to carry it to start with. Years of dragging around burdens that weighed me down were released. It is written: "My grace is sufficient for you; my power is made perfect in your weakness." If we never give God the problem how do we expect Him to fix it? Ever play tug of war with God? Give him the weakness or problem and then take it back? Sometimes this happens over and over again wearing us out. When we release it and let God take over He provides the perfect answer. It may not be immediate. It may not be exactly what you thought it should be. But, in the end it will be perfect for your situation. Can I encourage you to stop tugging on the rope today? Wearing yourself out with a battle you don't have to fight alone.
