Happy and I know It...

I am so glad for the knowledge and awareness that happiness is an inside job. It is a state of mind and being not dependent on outside sources. I am in a happy place because I made the choice not to let others rob my peace or steal my joy. No one else is responsible for making me happy. They can definitely add value to the experience but, I have to be happy with who I am and where I am in my own space first. Outside stimulants cannot make me a happy person inside either. How about you? Would you say you are happy and you know it? When people get around you do they feel your joy and want to know where you peace comes from? Possibly you have spent years looking for the right person to make you happy or have tried to buy happiness in the form of food, drink, exercise or entertainment. Can I encourage you today to start working on the happiness from the inside out?
