Exposed and Illuminated....

I acknowledge if I want the world to shine brighter around me I have to allow God's light to shine through me. There are many people who live in darkness. Their hearts are clouded. Their vision is blurred. They either have not been exposed to the light or choose to live in the darkness. It's not easy to live in the light. The light exposes our true character to the world. It makes us transparent to those we serve and illuminates our strengths as well as our weaknesses. Sometimes it is our greatest weakness that shows the light to a hurting soul. In Matthew we are instructed to "be the light". Are you walking in the light today? Are you illuminating the path for others to follow? Sometimes our crooked path is just what someone else needs to see to take a step. You can stumble in the light. You can even fall flat. What matters is that you were willing to demonstrate light in your weak moment. Can I encourage you to open yourself wide open to be filled with light that will shine through you for others to transparently and authentically see.
