A Package Deal...

I am thankful for the awareness that love is a package deal. Love accepts all things. Often we miss out on great relationships because we see their flaws larger than we see their heart. God's view of love is a complete package. We don't get to pick and choose the traits of the ones we love. If we did we would pick our kids to have good grades, not talk back, do their chores and always be humble and kind. But, we usually struggle with grades, repeatedly ask them to do chores and deal with attitudes. We don't stop loving our child because they don't behave perfectly.... but yet we seem to want our other relationships to be perfect. This is were grace reigns. When we can love someone unconditionally and show grace for their imperfections. After all are you perfect? Am I perfect?  The answer is No... so today can I encourage you to look at the package deal and remember "love bears all things".... not just the good things.
