I acknowledge that until I was able to wrestle my mind away from ego my thoughts, my actions and my words were weighted down by chains of justification, limited beliefs and a need to prove who I was. I am in gratitude to have wrestled that giant called ego and to have become a free mind who chooses to humbly serve others.
It is said a truly free person who is not chained down by ego is influenced only by the discriminate wisdom that comes from being in tune with Divine Will. This attunement, when ego is not present naturally aligns our every thought with that which is true, pure, lovely, right and admirable. (Philippians 4:8)
Who is running the show for you today? Is it your ego or is it your Divine Purpose. If you spend your day trying to prove you are right, get people on your side or spend time justifying your behavior EGO is in charge. However, if today your purpose is to help some one without them knowing it, give to a cause higher than yourself or if you continually are looking for ways to put others desires, wants and needs first then you are well on your way to being in tune with Divine Will for your highest and best self. Very few people bury their ego and take on the assignment to be their better self. Will you?
