I choose to relinquish the desire for an uncluttered life and instead embrace each day as it comes in full communication with the Spirit to guide me. My ultimate goal is not to control everything or fix every situation but to keep in constant communication with the Creator and His plan for my life.
It is easy for me to get off track or lose the signal of communication when I am trying to control all aspects. I know everything works out for my greater good. If I truly believe this in my heart and soul then it should be easy to let go of the need to be in control. I release my mental or physical check list for the day into God's hands. I create it each morning and let the Spirit and an army of angels go to work on it and go about my day looking for opportunities to serve, live, love and embrace life in the full measure God intended.
How about you? Is that physical or mental check list weighing you down? Are you tallying up what needs to be done today and feeling overwhelmed? Possibly you are adding up the debits against the credits and wondering how you are going to make it balance.... the key is it's not up to you. Give it away- let the One whose account is never overdrawn be in control this day and every day to follow.
