The Shirt Off Our Back...

I acknowledge the opportunity to love and honor others first. What does that look like in daily life? It means thinking of someone else's welfare. desires and needs above our own. It is showing deference consistently and always lifting others up. Loving others first includes not just giving of our time or our talents to benefit them, but opening our hearts to pour out unselfishly with steadfast devotion and loyalty.

In Romans we are instructed to rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn... to live in harmony with one another..... to love openly and without reserve.

How would our relationships change if we consciously were willing to give others the shirt off our back.... believing/knowing that God would replace it in some form or fashion, often with a shirt that is far more suited for us than the one we had?
