I choose to celebrate the difficult moments in my life, knowing that they are where the missing pieces of my destiny building purpose can be found. We rarely "find ourselves" in the easy chapters of our journey. The challenges are what stretch us, grow and mold us into our higher and better self.
How we handle ourselves in adversity really shows who we are at the core. Do we own it and learn from it or do we blame and take the victim route. It is when we are in the midst of the greatest storms of life that radiant light of integrity has the ability to shine the brightest.
God created each of us to be a victor not a victim. But, He also gave us free will. It is true that life is not fair, but God is. He gives each of us the opportunity to shine our light or hide behind a rock as so not to be exposed to the light for fear or what it would show the world. The choice is ours. What do the difficult moments in life show about you? Can you say you came through them on the other side with a higher knowledge of who you are and failed forward? Or, are repeatedly playing the victim role declining with each new chapter?
