I am thankful to feel the light of love's presence shining in my life. I open my heart and my mind to receive it and choose to pour it out on others. Authentic love does amazing things... it heals the hurts... it covers the loss… it pays the debt ... it restores and renews the spirit like a balm. We see it commanded in John to: "Love each other as I have loved you".
As a society we mess this up regularly. It is plainly written and simply interrupted, however we often allow our mind to get in the way of experiencing love in its full measure. The truth is we keep ourselves at arms length out of fear of getting hurt instead of experiencing this joyous opportunity; whether with God or one another.
