The power of pride.....

We often mistake the power of "I". Instead of using it to affirm or help others, we use it with pride. Beware, pride doesn't come before the fall, pride is the fall. Anytime we put ourselves before someone else we are saying "I am more important", " Who I am is better than who you are", "I have to get something out of this" " I can't do this for nothing".  Choose today to be humble, put yourself in the other person's shoes before you judge. The very behavior you are judging others for might be present in your own life upon closer examination. Look in the mirror, if "I" is more important than "we" a change of focus may be in order. We can never go wrong putting others first. In doing so we actually take care of ourselves. We get what we give. It is the law of reciprocation.
