Unselfish thinking....
Few things in life bring greater personal rewards than helping others, whether it is with your time, your talents or your money. Of all the values a person can pursue unselfish thinking seems to have the biggest impact toward cultivating others virtues. It sets the hardest example to follow. That is because the ability to give unselfishly is so difficult. It goes against human nature and how we were ingrained from birth to put ourselves instead of others first. We live in an "I" or "Me" society. However, if we learn to give of ourselves unselfishly we show to others the spirit of generosity and give those we encounter an appreciation for life and an understanding of it's higher value. It increases the quality of life for the giver and the receiver.
