Relationships begin with the heart. If your looking to cultivate the best in your relationships you need to be honest with yourself.  Is your focus on what you can put into people,  instead of what you can get out of them? Do you look for the best in others and work to draw that out and affirm it constantly or do you look for their faults and draw attention to them to make yourself look better?  To get to the heart of a relationship you have to be willing to put the other person first, affirm their talents, minimize their weaknesses and be honest about your feelings. The heart of it is honesty, with yourself and others.
