Guard the dream.....

During it's early stages a dream is a very fragile thing because it has not had time to develop. Think of it as a tree seedling. When it first pops up you can pull it out of the ground, but as it grows the roots start to dig deep and develop. New dreams are also subject to attack by those we share them with. In the beginning it is usually our closest confidants. Our hopes and desires may be able to weather the criticism of a stranger, but they have a more difficult time surviving being undermined or attacked by a friend or family member. The bubble of a new dream is exciting and yet fragile..... guard it well while it's root system is taking hold. Have faith in yourself and your dream or desire. It wouldn't be placed in your heart if you were not equipped to bring it to fruition.
