Whether you are a mentor or looking for a mentor  there are traits that help set the leaders from the followers. Those who mentor others are: genuine, intuitive, optimistic, perceptive, flexible and most of all a good listener. They "hear" from others and "help" them reach their dream or potential. Those who mentor draw out of others their best, often without the person realizing it. Mentors look to discover others talents like they are a hidden treasure in need of discovery.
