A Safe Haven

Do you create a safe haven? Are people comfortable coming and talking to you freely? Is your door always open for help? If so, you have created a supportive environment that is open to serving others whatever the need. You see some of us will help others if we have time, if it benefits us in some way , or if we have the extra money. We make no actual sacrifice to ourselves in order to be a benefit to someone else. A person who is a haven to others will give of themselves despite their financial state or their personal position. The richest person is the one who gives when they have little instead of the one who gives when they have surplus. You often find those that provided the safest haven for others are those who give much and who feel entitled to nothing. None of it is really ours anyway....
