Survival Mode

This is usually a time of reflection. A time to look back on the past year or maybe years. Did you live this year with a survive mentality or a thrive mentality. So many times we hear people say "I survived another year".  If we keep that mindset that is all we will do the next year as well, survive.  "My business is not what it used to be" .......  Why not focus on what it could be instead of what it isn't?   Thriving requires faith, expectancy, perseverance.  We need to have faith in our own God-given abilities and live our lives expecting to rise higher, above every challenge and over every obstacle. Thriving also requires perseverance; a mindset change of no excuses, going the extra mile.... that is where you thrive. We do not normally find our best self on easy street, where excuses live and procrastination has taken up residence.  So what's it going to be for 2013? Are you determined to thrive or are you going to do another year in survival mode?
