'The Real Gem...

When you are looking for people to join you in your journey do you consider loyalty?  If someone lacks loyalty you may want to disqualify them from the journey, evaluate taking them along because at some point they may hurt you more than they can help you. Loyalty is often overlooked for other beneficial traits we see in someone. We let it cloud our vision.  Often we think because we have partnered up with someone, placed them on our team, included them in our efforts or endorsed them that they automatically are going to be loyal.  Those with separate agendas, conflicted motives or duplicitous actions lack loyalty. At some point those characteristics are always revealed and if we have trusted them.... included them we usually end up hurt by their actions. Sometimes people share the journey with us only briefly, others may stay longer, but only a few, a very special few, will come along side us and help us the rest of the way. Loyalty from start to finish ...... hard to find. Treasure those that have it, they are rare jewels in a sea of phony gems.
