Peak Performance...
Not only does our body needs rest to perform, so does our mind. Many times we lay down to rest but our mind stays engaged. Does you mind race while you are trying to rest? Most times when this happens we have restless or fitful sleep and wake up tired. Practice releasing your mind before you go to sleep. Disengage the throttle and put it in park, so to speak. In doing this when we awake in the middle of night or 3:00 in the morning our mind won't take up the race where it left off when we went to sleep. As your mind stops racing and you become fully relaxed you regain awareness and energy that is vital to peak performance.
