Who Are You.....

When you strip away the layers what is left? Often we place value in position, power or profit. What would happen if layer by layer, thing by thing, ladder rung by ladder rung those went away....? What would you be left with? Imagine yourself naked of everything else in you life, what remains? Two things..... our character and our integrity. No one can take those from you. No one else can compromise those for you. Those two things are yours alone and at the end of the day removed of all layers you either have it you don't.  When all else is gone and there is nothing to hide behind... not a position, not a person.... just you. Will your integrity stand firm and your character unwavering? We come into the world with nothing and grow into the person we are today. We leave the world with nothing, but the person we are.
