Be Still.....

I know being still is an investment in my destiny. As I child I was conditioned to believe "being busy" meant I was productive, doing what I was suppose to. It actually means that I was doing instead of being. To be who I am created to be it requires "stillness" and time to listen, focus and affirm. It is written "be still and know" however, few take that to heart and get still enough to hear that voice. I choose to sacrifice my precious time to give God that space and time to permeate me with His presence and His peace. How about you? Are you having trouble "hearing" from God?
