Directly In The Path...

I am thankful for the awareness and knowledge to be patient. If we are honest with ourselves impatience quite often gets us in trouble. We live in an on demand society.... no one wants to wait or be patient for anything. This is one of the reasons our World is crisis ridden. We make rash decisions based on the circumstances right in front of us or something we have been told, without thinking the consequences or outcome out. It's all about us and what we want now. When we do this we often put ourselves directly in the path of the storm. Patience tells us to seek wise counsel and more importantly to pray without ceasing. Seek the wisdom of the One who knows the outcome.... the beginning and the end. Remember the promise in Hebrews 13 "I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you." We often forsake others, ourselves and God with our impatience. How about you? Have you forsaken your dream because you were not patience enough to see it manifest?  Possibly you are quick triggered and continually make rash decisions that put you or others in difficult circumstances. Can I encourage you today to stop... be still....listen and practice patience?
