Plank or Splinter...

I am in awareness that I must first remove the plank from my own eye's before trying to remove the splinter in someone else's eye. So often we believe we know exactly what someone else needs to do but are oblivious to what we need to do. We are telling our children, grandchildren, coworkers, spouses or partners even mere acquaintances how they should do things and missing the point God is trying to make in our own lives. We usually draw to us exactly what we need to address in our own lives. It is suppose to be a wake up call so that when we are helping others we are actually growing our self. Is there a plank in your eye today? Are you so busy trying to tell everyone else how to get the splinter out of their eye that you don't see what's right in front of you? Can I encourage you to ask a mentor what he or she see's? Also consider asking God to show you where you are blocking your own path. Plank or splinter it doesn't make a difference if you cannot get it out of your eye first.
