The Lost Desert of Potential...

I rejoice in the opportunity to view people through a different lens than most.  I choose to look past what they wear on their sleeve; what others say or how they act- to what their possibilities are. I look past the outward lens they portray inward to their potential. 

Most people don't even know where to start with their own potential, let alone someone else's. They wander around lost in dessert known as potential. Jesus had the ability to look at a person and see past outward appearance. He rose up a tax collector, a prostitute, a fisherman.... a carpenter. He saw past what the World saw or judged them to be to what they were really created to be. 

How are you viewing the people in your life? Do you have your Jesus glasses or your judgement glasses on? Are you looking at their past failures or seeing them with eyes that see the opportunity to help them with future accomplishments? Can I encourage you today that just like Jesus you have the choice to look past what everyone else  see's and find something different in each person and foster and feed that. Potential is nothing until someone realizes and encourages it....then it becomes everything. The foundation to a different way of life.
